Description | Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway original large wall poster timetable dated 4th October 1920 Until Further Notice - 24.75" x 31.75" The R&SBR linked the top of the Rhondda Valley (via the Afan Valley, Port Talbot and Neath) to the Port of Swansea. The company was incorporated in 1882. In 1906 the GWR took over management of the R&SBR system. The R&SBR company remained in existence as a financial company only though the system kep the name Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway, it was absorbed completely by the Great Western Railway. Has been stored folded (in the same family ownership for almost 50 years) |
